New Hires
Nina St. John started with Van Gilder in the Professional Liability, Architects and Engineers department. As an Account Manager, Nina’s responsibilities include servicing new and renewal client coverage. Nina has been a licensed insurance professional since 1984, and has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. She has worked in all aspects of the independent agency system including servicing and marketing all lines of business and managing accounting, commercial lines and IT departments. Nina’s strengths lie in her ability to successfully and confidently manage projects and her willingness to make sure the job gets done right. She is currently pursuing her CIC designation.
Morgan Virgilio came to work for Van Gilder as an Associate Producer in the Employee Benefits department. Prior to joining Van Gilder, Morgan worked for a small, family-owned insurance broker in Chicago. She was responsible for business development for commercial lines, personal lines and employee benefits. Morgan focused specifically on the social services industry, commercial real estate, construction and the alarm securities industry. Morgan’s passion for meeting new people, learning their background and getting to know their business will help her to create a successful network in Denver that will help grow Van Gilder’s Employee Benefits department.
Gary Newlin joined Van Gilder’s Commercial Lines department. As an Associate Producer, Gary will work within the Executive Liability unit, focusing on D&O insurance. Gary will begin to establish, build and maintain prospective client relationships in order to help grow the D&O book of business. Gary has his Series 7 and 66, and is currently pursuing his P&C designation. Prior to joining Van Gilder, Gary spent the majority of his time as a senior financial advisor at Merrill Lynch. Through his organizational skills, attention to detail and personal networking abilities, Gary hopes to build great relationships internally that will lead to successful and great client partnerships externally.
Melissa Brejcha started at Van Gilder as Account Manager in both the Commercial and Personal Lines division. Prior to coming to Van Gilder, Melisa held many different roles including: Commercial Underwriter, Personal Lines Underwriter and Commercial Processor. Presently, Melissa is in the middle of pursuing her CISR designation. With six years of experience in the insurance industry, Melissa strives to provide excellent customer service, and to retain and grow business. She is driven to do her best, each day, for her customers.
