Deanna Napier

Senior Vice President - Construction and Surety Division Director

Deanna Napier specializes in insurance products for the construction industry, with both traditional and captive insurance products, as well as consolidated insurance products for specific projects (Wraps, OCIPs and CCIPs). She is responsible for overall management of services and coordinates risk control, claims assistance and coverage analysis to meet the insurance and risk management needs of each client in the Construction Division.

Deanna’s area of expertise includes residential and commercial general and subcontractors. Her specialties include alternative risk programs, contract review, exposure analysis, and development of operations overview for marketing purposes. Deanna also assists clients in developing systems to manage the administration of their subcontracts and certificate collection procedure.

Deanna joined Van Gilder in 2000, where she held account management and supervisory positions, before becoming the Director of the Construction & Surety Division. Deanna graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and holds her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations, as well as  Construction Management Certificate from CSU.
