It is the policy of Van Gilder Insurance Corporation to fully disclose to our clients how we are compensated for handling insurance transactions between our clients and the companies.
For the placement and service of insurance business, Van Gilder will receive a commission, fee or depending on the unique needs of the client, a combination of both from selected insurance companies and/or wholesale intermediaries. The level of compensation may differ depending on the products and the companies with whom business is placed. Van Gilder may receive additional compensation from selected insurance companies based upon other factors, such as premium volume placed with a particular insurance company or for particular lines of insurance or categories of coverage, the loss or claim experience of our book of business with a particular insurance company, growth in new business, retention of the business, training and technology investments and profitability.
